Antoine "Tony" C. Albert, 80, of O'Fallon Ill., born Feb. 17, 1934, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Tuesday Feb. 18, 2014, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Tony was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church, and was a retired truck driver from Switzers Wholesale. Tony was a handyman and enjoyed wood working, shooting, gardening, and marksmanship.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Etta Mae, nee Fox, Albert; and wife, Shirley, nee Phillips, Albert.
Surviving are his children, Sandra and Brian Metze, and Patrick and Beth Albert; grandchildren, Michael and Terra Metze, Amanda and Anthony Whitfield, Natalie Metze, Nicole Albert, Sarah Albert, and Megan Albert; and great-grandchildren, Bailey Kruse, Jalen Metze, and Anthony Whitfield II.
