Arlou C. Hartmann, 98, of Red Bud, Ill., born March 6, 1918, in Red Bud, Ill., passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Red Bud Regional Care Center, Red Bud, Ill.
She had worked at Bussman in St. Louis, Mo.; and as a nanny. She was never married.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Ill., and was very active in her church. She loved quilting, traveling, reading and visiting with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Elizabeth, nee Geisler, Hartmann; four brothers, Harold, Milton, Orville and Norman Hartmann; a niece, Marlene Hartmann; and a great-great-niece, Hannah Porter.
Surviving are a niece, Lynn Hartmann of Rochester, Minn.; three nephews, Terry (Carol) Hartmann of Red Bud, Ill., Charles (Deb) Hartmann of Red Bud, Ill., and Kenny (Carol) Hartmann of St. Charles, Ill.; eight great-nieces and nephews; and 11 great-great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the funeral home, with Rev. Mark Nebel officiating. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Red Bud, Ill.
