Betty L. Baldwin, nee Kee, 73, of Granite City, Ill., born May 16, 1943, in Elco, Ill., passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016, at her home, with her loving family by her side.
Betty was a faithful and dedicated member of Tri-City
Assembly of God Church in Granite City, Ill. She was also the custodian at the church for many years. Betty was proud to be a Madison County election judge and she enjoyed going to church, singing in the choir and reading. She was very talented and could play several instruments, including the harmonica, piano, and ukelele. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially
with her grandchildren, whom she adored. Betty loved life, she loved to laugh, but most of all she loved her Lord, and her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Donnie, nee Brooks, Kee; a sister, Almeda Kee; and seven brothers, Lee, Vernon, Jess, Enos, George, Lester and Dale Kee.
Surviving are the love of her life, and devoted husband, Tom Baldwin of Granite City, Ill., whom she married on Feb. 3, 1963, in Granite City, Ill.; her loving children, Elizabeth (Keith) Field of Clinton, Iowa, Tom (Chris) Baldwin of Granite City, Ill., and Phillip (Regina) Baldwin of Roxanna, Ill.; a sister, Donna Mathis; four brothers, Stanley Kee, Bob (Mae) Kee, Denny (Mary) Kee and Conrad (Barb) Kee; proud grandmother to Thomas, Josh, Ashlynn, Shelby, Sidney, Jordan, Paige, Caleb, Isabel and Sarah; proud great-grandmother to Alyssa, Aidyn, Ainsley, Gunnar, Karlie and Hunter; extended family and many dear friends.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road, Granite City, Ill.
Funeral: In celebration of her life, funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Irwin Chapel, with Pastor Barry Shepherd officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
