Carmen L. Bradshaw, nee Buskirk, 80, of Barnhart, Mo., formerly of Belleville, Ill., born on March 20, 1935, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Mercy Hospital, Crystal City, Mo.
Carmen loved gardening and flowers. She worked at Illinois Bell before marrying Billy Bradshaw in 1953. She worked at Red Lobster in Fairview Heights, Ill., St. Elizabeth's Hospital and later at St. Anthony's Hospital as a cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy G. Bradshaw; her parents, L. Franklin and M. Elsie, nee Tomlin, Buskirk; six sisters and two brothers, Anna Daniels, Faye Marshall, Brenda Buskirk, Audrey Baker, Sandra Helfer, Diane Poore, William "Luke" Buskirk and Norman Buskirk.
Surviving are her children, Carol (Scott) Johnson of Barnhart, Mo., Mark (Nova) Bradshaw of Farmington, Mo., Marla Bradshaw of Farmington, Mo., and Eric Bradshaw of Farmington, Mo.; her grandchildren, Aaron Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Megan Drouetta, Corey Bradshaw, Anastasia Bradshaw and Austin Bradshaw; her great-grandchildren, Ethan Johnson and Layla Johnson; and her siblings, Leroy (Jean) Buskirk, Howard (Ellen) Buskirk and Colleen (Chuck) Smith. Carmen was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and cousin.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2016, at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, Ill., with Pastor Hal Santos officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
