Carol M. Kenner, nee Heimos, 73, of Cahokia, Ill., born Sept. 18, 1942 in Sugarloaf Township, Ill., passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville, Ill.
Carol retired from C.P.I. Corp in St. Louis, Mo., and worked part-time at Columbia School District 4. She loved to exercise and was always on the go.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell D. Kenner; her parents, John and Vivian, nee Shelby, Heimos; two sisters, Imogene Shore and Almedia Cardin; a brother, Cloise Hayes; and a grandson, Skip Rhyne.
Surviving are her children, Kathy Clark of Waterloo, Ill., Don Kenner of Waterloo, Ill., Jeff (Judy) Kenner of Cahokia, Ill., and Weseley (Jane) Kenner of Imperial, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was a dear cousin, aunt and friend.

Visitation: A gathering of family and friends will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill.
Funeral: Services will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Roger Reid officiating. Carol requested private cremation.
