Carolyn Sue Rosner, 51, of Florissant, Mo., born May 17, 1958, in Belleville, Ill., died Tuesday, May 19, 2009, in St. Louis, Mo.
Carolyn was a nurse for 30 years starting at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill., and the last four years at St. John's Mercy, St. Louis, Mo. She enjoyed gardening and being with friends, traveling and being a grandma. She had a passionate love for her three Corgis, Lola, Toby and Shelby. She also loved and was a member of St. Louis Botanical Gardens.
Surviving are her loving husband of two years, Bob Rosner; her two sons, Jason (Janice) McGinthy of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, and Matt McGinthy of Penscacola, Fla.; a step-son, Jess Rosner of Florissant, Mo., and a step-daughter, Abigail (Theodore) Gugginsberg of Fort Lewis, Wash.; grandchildren, Jackson and Molly McGinthy; her parents, Frank R. Welch and Jerrie Yates; three sisters, Becky Bunch of Kissimmee, Fla., Alice Wells of O'Fallon, Ill., and Claudia McGrath of Australia; and a good friend, Barb Heaney.
Visitation: Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009, at Lake View Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
