Charles Richard "Rick" Seay Sr., 61, of Belleville, Ill., born Nov. 7, 1954, in Kansas City, Kan., died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016, at Touchette Regional Hospital, Centreville, Ill.
Rick was employed by Beelman Truck Company in East St. Louis, Ill. He loved to hunt, drive race cars, and go camping and boating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles L. and Mary C., nee Smith, Seay; a brother, David Seay; and a sister, Mary Mercer.
Surviving are his wife, Linda M., nee Hargrove, Seay; children, Tina (Marvin) Pigg of Waterloo, Ill., and Charles "Ricky" (Connie Wheeler) Seay Jr. of Belleville, Ill.; a brother, Jimmy Seay of the Phillipines; and three grandchildren, Mackenzie Seay, Brittney Hopewell, and Ean Greene. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will follow at noon with Pastor Levi Hart officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
