Cheryl A. Eisele, nee Brown, 67, of Belleville, Ill., born Aug. 30, 1948, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, in Swansea, Ill., surrounded by her family.
She was an avid evangelical Christian, attended church regularly, and spoke often of her Lord and Savior with others. Cheryl is a retired educator, and an award winning teacher in inner-city schools. She was the most selfless person next to God. Cheryl ensured everyone was her priority, and was a shining light to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arnold G. Brown.
Surviving are her loving mother, Maggie J. Brown, nee Sharp; a daughter, Lisa (Mark) McFeely; and son, Chad Eisele; grandchildren, Christen (Scott) Long, Patrick McFeely, Austin McFeely, Tyler Eisele, Alyssa Eisele, and Katie Eisele; a great-grandchild, Addison Eisele, and one on the way; a brother, Jeffrey (Rose) Brown; sisters, Paula Daley, and Kim (Joe) Lautner; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Parkway West, Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately.
