Colleen Pearl Myers, 89, of Columbia, Ill., born Aug. 12, 1927, in Mt. Braddock, Penn., passed away on Nov. 26, 2016 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Ill.
Colleen was the quintessential homemaker, making a warm and loving home for her family. She had enjoyed her trips, cruises, and camping over the years with her husband, seeing places like Alaska and the Panama Canal. Later, she enjoyed singing and music with her friends from Garden Place in Columbia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ida Mae, nee Bryner, Sumey; husband, Elmer C. Myers, whom she married May 17, 1948, in St. Louis, Mo., and who passed away Dec. 2, 2008; grandchild, Mackenzie Myers; along with a sister, Velma (Arthur) Marzano.
Surviving are her children, Charles S. (Dottie) Myers of Waterloo, Ill., Robert P. (Debbie) Myers of Odessa, Fla., Richard A. Myers of St. Louis, Mo., and Edward G. (Ann) Myers of Waterloo, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016 at Lawlor Funeral Home, Columbia, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday Dec. 2, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
