Diana L. Kasper, nee Knop, 62, of Freeburg, Ill., born April 25, 1954, in Red Bud, Ill., died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Diana was an Environmental Protection Specialist at Scott Air Force Base. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, Ill., where she also served as a eucharistic minister and lector. Diana was also a member of the Freeburg Zoning Board of Appeals Committee. She volunteered at the Freeburg Food Pantry and New Athens Historical Society and was also involved with and extremely dedicated to Boy Scouts Troop 30.
Mrs. Kasper was preceded in death by a son, Charles D. Kasper; and her parents, Warren G. and Ruby M., nee Day, Knop.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Randy E. Kasper, whom she married on April 18, 1975, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, Ill.; three sons, Warren E. (Sandy) Kasper of Folsom, Calif., Brad A. Kasper of St. Louis, Mo., and Robert M. Kasper of Freeburg, Ill.; a granddaughter, Charlotte Kasper; and two sisters, Beverly Labuda and Cindy (John) DeKruiffe.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016, and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, Ill.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, Ill., with Father Mark Reyling officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Freeburg, Ill.
