Dolores Ann Bilyeu, 82, of Troy, Ill., born May 24, 1933, in Chicago, Ill., passed away Monday, December 14, 2015, at her home.
Dolores retired in 1993 from AT&T after 33 years of dedicated service with Illinois Bell as a telephone operator.
Her life was devoted to family and she cherished the special times shared with her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Dashke and Jessie A., nee Dalton, Murdock; a brother, Robert Dashke; a sister, Georgia Wasser; and a son-in-law, Thomas E. Ashcroft.
Surviving are six children and their spouses, George and Debra Bilyeu of Collinsville, Ill., Lynn Ashcroft of Collinsville, Ill., Elizabeth and
Jack Illies of Troy, Ill., Lee and Gale Bilyeu of Granite City, Ill., Donna and Thomas Weimer of Harrisburg, Pa., and Carrie and Paul Lewis of Troy, Ill.; 16 grandchildren, their spouses; and 14 great-grandchildren, Christopher Bilyeu (Emma), Jason Bilyeu, Brittany and Patrick Irish, Kendra and Michael Stuppi (Addison, Lydia), Amy McCallister (Ashton, Mason), Jeffrey Hartsoe, Zachary and Kynda Bilyeu, Jessica Owens (Jimmy, Theo, Robby), Shawn Lorenzen (Greyson), Shannon and Shawn Sapp (Gracie), Jacob Bilyeu, Jessie and Kristopher Kowalczyk (Marek), Amanda and John Bechtel (Rowan, Lily), Jacob and Anna Weimer (Jaxon), Alex Saenz, Paul Lewis III and Tyler Lewis; a brother, Howard Dashke of Caseyville, Ill.; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Rick Schauer of Schaumburg, Ill.; a half-sister, Jeannette Vardiman; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.

Visitation: In Celebration of her life, visitation will be from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2015, at St. John Evangelical United Church of Christ, 307 West Clay Street, Collinsville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2015, at the church, with Reverend Tony Minear officiating.
