Dolores Ann "Dee" Gummersheimer, nee Robinson, 80, of Cahokia, Ill., born Aug. 2, 1935, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Friday, April 22, 2016, in St. Louis, Mo.
Dee worked as a bank teller for many years, retiring from both Regions Bank in Cahokia, Ill., and Commerce (formerly West Point) Bank in Columbia, Ill. She enjoyed fishing, boating, and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Hattie, nee Gafford, Robinson; a son, Preston Vannater; three brothers, Charles, William, and Ronnie Robinson; and a sister-in-law, Juanita Robinson.
Surviving are her husband, Willard "Bill" Gummersheimer; her children, Debbie (Keith) Vahey of St. Louis, Mo., and Ernie (Shana) Aubuschon III of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.; a step daughter, Joyce Gummersheimer of Cahokia, Ill.; a brother-in-law, Don (Elaine) Gummersheimer of Steelville, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Yvonne "Bonnie" Robinson of Millstadt, Ill.; four grandchildren, Ernie (Danielle) Aubuschon IV of Waterloo, Ill., Keith (Crystal Lanoue) Vahey Jr. of Orange City, Fla., Elizabeth (Luke) Cunningham of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Jason (Katie) Vahey of St. Louis, Mo.; six great-grandchildren, Lena, Chloe, and Andrew Aubuschon, Mya and Cora Cunningham, and Cecilia Vahey; and a former daughter-in-law, Donna (Dennis) Gregory of Waterloo, Ill. She was a dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the funeral home, with Bill Graul officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.
