Dolores Elaine Eigenbrodt, nee Dellamano, 85, of Collinsville, Ill., born April 6, 1931, in Collinsville, Ill., passed away Friday, July 15, 2016.

Dolores was a retired secretary from Ogden Foods and had also worked at radio station WTMV. She was a faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, and in her younger years she was a member of the Walther League and Junior Service Club.

Her family describes her as the most selfless, caring and loving mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful Christian role model and also a great cook!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bud" Eigenbrodt, whom she married on June 30, 1956, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville and who died Aug. 21, 2001; and her parents, Toby and Clara, nee Schuricht, Dellamano.

Surviving are her children, Debra (Brion) Brown of Collinsville, Dr. John (Michelle) Eigenbrodt of Edwardsville, and Lisa (Stace) Faulders of Maryville; three sisters and two brothers, Clare Ogram of Andover, Ohio, Charlotte Litton of Cahokia, Ill., Patricia Fedder of Longwood, Fla., Robert Dellamano of Collinsville, and Toby Dellamano of Omaha, Neb.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Family and friends will gather from 10:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: A memorial service will be conducted at noon Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at the church with Pastor Kyle Wright and Dr. Dale Meyer officiating.
