Donald J. Biekert, 60, of Casselberry, Fla., born March 2, 1956 in Mascoutah, Ill., died Wednesday Sept. 21, 2016 at Quality Healthcare Center in Casselberry, Fla.
Don worked for Peabody Coal Company, River King Mine UG #1 and also worked in aviation maintenance. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Church in Casselberry Fla. Don was a St. Louis Cardinal fan, loved going to air shows, fishing, and an avid gun enthusiast. His passion was socializing with friends and loving people as well as his dogs Mojo and Si.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ann, nee Moll, Biekert; a granddaughter, Evangeline Davis; a sister, Jane Ellen Biekert in infancy; and a sister-in-law, Debra Biekert.
Surviving are his wife, Belinda Luanne, nee Wynn, Biekert of Casselberry, Fla.; four sons, Derrek, Devin, Dylan, and Dalton Biekert all of Centralia, Ill.; two daughters, Leanne Dietrich of Belleville, Ill., Belinda Ann Moore of New Smyrna, Fla.; two granddaughters, Tabitha Patton Moore of DeBary, Fla., Lexi Biekert of Centralia, Ill.; three brothers, David Biekert of Mascoutah, Ill., John (Lisa) Biekert of Mascoutah Ill., Danny (Angela) Biekert of Huntsville, Ala.; two sisters, Jean (Don) Marshall of Freeburg, Ill., Julie Biekert of Mascoutah, Ill.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, Ill.
Funeral: A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 at the funeral home with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating.
