Doris K. Knollhoff, nee Weihl, 80, of Mascoutah, Ill., born Friday, Aug. 23, 1935, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, at Silver Creek in Mascoutah, Ill.
Mrs. Knollhoff was a retired registered nurse for Memorial Convalescent Center, Belleville, Ill. She was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill., and Holy Childhood, Mascoutah, Ill. She was a graduate of Washington University School of Nursing and was very active volunteering for Hospice of Southern Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer C. and Rubilee, nee Huskey, Weihl; and sister, Elaine Chenoweth.
Surviving are her five children, Ramona Murray of Monticello, Ill., Lori May of Belleville, Ill., Emilie Fink of Swansea, Ill., Sophie (Michael) Zollman of Springhill, Tenn., and David Henry (Beth) Knollhoff of Jacksonville, Ill; brother, Donald (Carol) Weihl of Belleville, Ill.; sister, Linda (Bill) Mayer of Belleville, Ill.; 11 Grandchildren, J.D., Carrie, Kaylie, Cole, Ty, Spencer, Courtney, Nicole, Tylendel, Maeve, and Colin; and six great- grandchildren, Vance, Mason, Adrianna, Cory, Jackson, and Riley.

Funeral: A funeral procession will leave from Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, for a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill., with Monsignor David Darin officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.
