Doris L. Evansco, nee Skelly, 86, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born Oct. 26, 1929, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at her residence.
Doris was a graduate of East St. Louis Senior High School. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Evansco; her son, David Evansco, her parents, Thomas and Lela, nee Burns, Skelly; her brother, Thomas Skelly; her sisters, Gertrude Loeschner and Naomi Watson; and her sister-in-law, Betty Lovely.
Surviving are her children, Steve Evansco of Collinsville, Ill., Mark (Janene) Evansco of Dupo, Ill., Nancy (Gary) Rittenhouse of Shiloh, Ill., and Susan (Ted) Harris of Smithton, Ill.; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Quentin) Grommet, Stacy (Matt) Belosi, Bonnie (Kraig) Martin, Hollie Evansco, Joe (Jessica) Evansco, Kelsey Rittenhouse, Mollie Rittenhouse, Abby Rittenhouse, Nathan (Jen) Harris, and Lindsey (Larry) Benavides; her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jackson, Quinn, Kapraun, Kayla, Sophia, Joshua, Joseph, Molly, Tess, and Sawyer; her daughter-in-law, Patty Evansco of Millstadt, Ill.; and her brother-n-law, Gerald (Eileen) Wiegers of Belleville, Ill. She is also survived by many dear nieces,
nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice or in the form of masses to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: A funeral procession will leave at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016, from Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill., for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with
Fr. Ray Schultz officiating. Interment will be held in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
