Duck Netemeyer, 68, of Albers, Ill., born May 2, 1948, in Breese, Ill., died Monday, August 8, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital, Breese, Ill.
Mr. Netemeyer was a farmer; a member of St. Bernard Parish in Albers, Ill., Clinton County Farm Bureau, Green Iron Club, and the NRA. Anyone who knew Duck never saw him without his Ranger and his Dewalt radio with "Hayride" playing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Rita, nee, Kues, Netemeyer; two brothers, Thomas and Joseph
Netemeyer; his father-in- law, Cletus Fuehne; and three brothers-in- law, Jerry Lampe, Mark Hollenkamp, and Donald Joseph Fuehne.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Fuehne, whom he married on Feb. 15, 1969; two daughters, Lori (friend, Trish
McGrath) Netemeyer of Millstadt, Ill., and Stacey (friend, Shane Brown) Netemeyer of
Belleville; his twin brother, Dan Netemeyer and wife Paula of Columbia, Mo.; a brother, Kenneth "Fritz" Netemeyer and wife Beth of Hillsboro, Mo.; three sisters, Margaret Cockerill and husband Leonard of San Antonio, Texas, Barb Hollenkamp-Haag and husband Chip of Breese, Ill., and Sharon "Sam" Lampe-Keil and husband Lou of Aviston, Ill.; his mother-in- law, Rita "Butch" Fuehne of Damiansville, Ill.; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in- law, Darlene and Alfred Spihlmann of Damiansville, Ill., Mary Lou and Tom Huling of Fairview Heights, Ill., Nancy and Butch Toennies and David and Cindy " Cid" Fuehne, all of Damiansville, Ill., Lynn and Don Koerkenmeier of Stilwell, Kan., and Steve and Gwen Fuehne of Damiansville, Ill.

Funeral: A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Albers, Ill., with Rev. Anthony Onyango, and Deacon Glenn Netemeyer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Albers, Ill.
