Edward E. Elmore, 77, of Belleville, Ill., born April 19, 1939, at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, at Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Elmore worked as a foreman for the Monsanto Company before his retirement. He was a member of St. Peter's Cathedral, Belleville, Ill., and the Knights of Columbus Council 1028.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Ann, nee Wosylus, Elmore, whom he married on April 11, 1959, and who died on March 15, 2014; his parents, Pet A. and Catherine A., nee Schoenborn, Elmore; two brothers, Wayne and Pat Elmore; and a sister, Patricia Conklin.
Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly Sue Elmore of Centralia, Ill.; two sisters, Mary McFalls of Belleville, Ill., and Lucy M. (James) Gorman of Swansea, Ill.; a brother-in-law, Richard (Linda) Wosylus of Smithton, Ill.; and many very close nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral: Funeral procession will leave at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, from George Renner & Sons Funeral Home for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's Cathedral with Msgr. John Myler officiating. Cremation will follow the services with burial at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.
