Elsie V. Stacy, nee Evans, 73, of Cahokia, Ill., born Oct. 23, 1942, in Glen Mary, Ala., died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at Gateway Regional Hospital, Granite City, Ill.
Mrs. Stacy was retired from White-Rodgers in St. Louis, Mo. She was a member of Jerome Lane Baptist Church, Cahokia, Ill. She graduated from Maben (Mississippi) High School and was a cheerleader from 7th grade through 12th grade.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Stacy Sr.; two sons, Robert E. Stacy Jr., and Joseph Stacy; her parents, Landy and Roberta, nee Walker, Evans; three brothers, Jay, Sonny, and Joe Evans; two sisters, Betty Willis and Billie Stacy; and a brother-in-law, Carl Stacy.
Surviving are her children, Kathy Beaudine of Biloxi, Miss., Alicia Stacy of Cahokia, Ill., and Eric (Cris) Stacy of Granite City, Ill.; two sisters, Mary Robbins of Maben, Miss., and Lois Young of Jenks, Okla.; a brother, Rick (Karen) Evans of Sikeston, Mo.; a brother-in-law, Jay (Louise) Stacy of Cahokia, Ill.; 10 grandchildren, Randy (Ashley), Steve (Amanda), Bobby, Sean, E.J., Ryan, and Evan Monti Stacy, Jason and Johnny Necaise, and Robby Stacy; and eight great-grandchildren. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, at the funeral home, with Elder Elbert Jennings officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis County, Mo.
