Ethel E. "Granny" Morris, nee Noles, 92, of Pittsburg, Ill., formerly of East Carondelet, Ill., born April 3, 1924 in Union Grove, Ala., died Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Granny was a home maker, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Carondelet, Ill., and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Granny was preceded in death by her husband, V. Henry Morris, her son, C. Wayne Morris, her parents, John William "Austin" and Frances Lucinda, nee Artis, Noles, her brother, John William Noles, her sister, Tempie Noles and her sister in infancy, Everlin Noles.
Surviving are two sons, William H. Morris and Ronald V. (Charlotte) Morris; two daughters, G. A. Morris and Brenda J. Allen; sister-in-law, Katie Noles; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren; She is also survived by her good friend and caregiver, Deanna Clafin; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016 at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Don Mitchell, officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
