Eva F.I. Driemeier, nee Hare, 85, of Belleville, Ill., born April 6, 1931, in Salina, Kan., died May 29, 2016, in St.
Louis, Mo., surrounded by her family.
Eva was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, Ill. She put her four children through high school, and one of them through Southern Illinois College. Eva waitressed at Gartner's Restaurant, Compton's Cafe (which became the HiHo), and at Fischer's Restaurant for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Driemeier; her parents, Dewey and True, nee Demer, Hare; a grandchild, Chelsea Driemeyer; a brother, Lesley Hare; and two sisters, Lily Hare, and Betty Mize.
Surviving are her children, Jerry Driemeyer, Edwin (Jan) Driemeier, Andy Driemeyer, and Linda (Frank) Bainter; her grandchildren, Misty Shepherd, Cory Bainter, and Jennifer Driemeier; her great- grandchildren, Meagan, Andrew, William, Aiden, and Bella; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, a nephew, other family members and friends.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June, 1, 2016, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, Ill., 62223.
Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St Louis, Mo.
