Obituary Condolences

Evan Ross Nowels
Evan Ross Nowels unexpectedly passed away on February 1, 2006. Evan was born August 29, 2005, to Ross and Kristine Nowels (nee Karban) of Belleville. He was welcomed into life by his sisters, Madeleine and Lydia; his grandparents, Michael Karban of Belleville, Guy Nowels of Webster Groves, MO, and Lynn Martin of Warrenton, MO, along with his step-grandparents, Jacqueline Karban and Michael Martin; his uncles, Stephen (Judith Krogstad) Nowels of St. Louis, Michael Karban of Collinsville, and Daniel Karban of Belleville; and great grandfather Elroy (Elizabeth) Rule of Millstadt. During his life, Evan was also blessed with the love of many great uncles, great aunts, cousins, friends, and his childcare provider, Helen North.
Preceding Evan in death were his sister Emily Jane and his grandmother Barbara Rule Karban.
Like Emily, Evan was the light of our lives.
The family would like to acknowledge the efforts of the EMTs and emergency personnel at Memorial Hospital who worked to save our little boy.
Because the family believes Evan already shares in Jesus' eternal life, we ask that no masses be offered for him. Those who wish to remember Evan with memorials may offer assistance to the family.

The visitation will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at Corpus Christi Parish Center in Shiloh.

Evan's Memorial Mass will be conducted at noon, Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at Corpus Christi Parish Center, Shiloh, with Father Roger Karban presiding.
