Frank Morin, 97, of Belleville, Ill., born March 11, 1907, in San Diego, Texas, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mr. Morin was a barber from 1932 until 1972, working the majority of that time at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. He was a member of Belleville/ Swansea Moose Lodge 1221 and the Woodmen of the World.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Rosa, nee Torres, Morin; three sisters, Juanita Quintanilla, Elvira Ramirez and Mary Salanis; and five brothers, Lee, Alex, Jesse, Bennie and Joe Morin.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Bessie May, nee Lee, Morin, whom he married March 25, 1941; a son, Frank Lee (a dear friend, Cynthia Moore) Morin of Belleville, Ill.; two sisters, Sophie Salanis of San Diego, Texas, and Lily Cusimano of Los Angeles, Calif.; and two brothers, Jimmie (Annie) Morin and Adolph Morin, both of Los Angeles, Calif.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Funeral: Graveside services were held Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
