Harold Musskopf Jr.
Harold Walter "Harley" Musskopf, Jr., 62, of Cahokia, Ill., born Feb. 13, 1951, in St. Louis, Mo., died Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
Harley was a self employed contractor and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold W. and Mildred, nee Siroky, Musskopf Sr.; and a brother, Kenneth Musskopf.
Surviving are his wife, Carol A. Musskopf; his children, Samantha Jones of Imperial, Mo., James (Dana) Lechner of Columbia, Ill., Brian (Sarah) Lechner of Waterloo, Ill., and Joseph (Angela) Lechner of Waterloo, Ill.; two brothers, Keith (Kim) Musskopf and Kevin Musskopf, both of Cahokia, Ill.; two sisters, Linda (Jim) Huggins of Arkansas and Cindy (Benny) Grantham of Mississippi; his mother-in-law, Margaret Jones of St. Louis, Mo.; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend.
Visitation: A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2013, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill.
Funeral: Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday,
April 22, 2013, at the funeral home, with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating. At Harley's request his body was cremated. Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Family/St. Joseph Cemetery, Dupo, Ill.
