Hollis E. Jackson, 86, of Belleville, Ill., born Monday, Nov. 11, 1929, in Mclemoresville, Tenn., died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016 at Cedarhurst of Shiloh in Shiloh, Ill.
Hollis worked as a sales/typesetter for Printing and Graphic Arts. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Belleville, Ill., and a United States Korean War Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys V., nee Boron, Jackson; parents, Arvil H. and Annabel, nee Younger, Jackson; and brother, John T. Jackson.
Surviving are his children, James J. (Dona) Jackson of Fairview Heights, Ill., Patricia A. "Pat" Jackson of Trenton, Ill., John M. (Beth) Jackson of Fishers, Ind., and Pamela J. (Randy) Lauf of Belleville, Ill.; brother, Ralph (Polly) Jackson of Dade City, Fla.; sister, Frances King of Missouri; two grandchildren, Paul A. Jackson and Stephen M. Jackson.

Funeral: A funeral procession will leave from Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill., at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace with Father Matthew Elie officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.
