Irene Tripp, nee Bushkill, 103, of Troy, Ill., born Dec. 30, 1907, in Winona, Mo., died on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at her residence.
Irene was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Troy, Ill., where she was an adult woman's Sunday School teacher for many years. She worked for several real estate agencies in the area and also worked for the family business, Love and Lace Bridal, Collinsville, Ill. She was very devoted to her family and to her faith in God.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Denver Tripp; her parents, Francis and Flora, nee Mount, Bushkill; three great-grandsons, three brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are her children, Billie (Daniel) Chorney of Downers Grove, Ill., Edith Stone of Collinsville, Ill., and Stephen (Anna) Tripp of Collinsville, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at Lake View Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Lewis officiating. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
