Jason M. Yaekel, 32, of Columbia, Ill., born July 28, 1984, in Belleville, Ill., passed away Aug. 4, 2016.
Jason worked at Archview Metal Systems in Columbia, Ill., and was a member of AFL-CIO Sheet Metal Workers Local 268 in Caseyville, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Chip Loesche.
Surviving are his committed partner, Katie Noski, and their son, Jase Yaekel of Columbia, Ill.; mother, Julie Yaekel-Black Elk of Sandstone, Minn.; father, Charlie (Deanna) Loesche of Freeburg, Ill.; brother, Cody James Yeakel of Sandstone, Minn.; sister, Cheyenne (Nick) Yaekel-Mulder of Wartford City, N.D., sister, Lydia Loesche of Freeburg, Ill.; nephews, Keenan Yaekel and Judson Yaekel-Mulder; grandparents, James and Rosemary Yaekel of Columbia, Ill.; grandmother, Edna Loesche of Freeburg, Ill.; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Funeral: A memorial service be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, at the funeral home with Father Carl Scherrer officiating. A celebration of life service is also being planned for his home town in Minnesota.
