Jerry Juengel

Jerry D. "Bo" Juengel, 59, of Caseyville, Ill., born Sunday, Sept. 6, 1953, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.

Bo was a loving husband of 36 years, father and the worlds greatest grandpa. He was a member of Illinois State Archeological Society and a United States Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father, George J. Juengel; mother and stepfather, Opal, nee Oliver, and William Price; infant brother, James Juengel; brother, George Juengel Jr.; sister, Joyce Raymer; father-in-law, Joseph Koskie; niece and nephew, Dawn and Buddy Juenger; and grandson, Jackson Pfershy.

Surviving are his wife, Vickie, nee Koskie, Juengel; son, Jim (Val Demel) Juengel of Sherwood, Ore., daughter and son-in-law, Robyn and Matt Pfershy of O'Fallon, Ill.; sisters, Judy (Gary) Janning of Caseyville, Ill., Jeanette (William) Price of Wentzville, Mo., June (Allan) Kumm of Platte City, Mo., Marlene (Scotty) Johnson of St. Charles, Mo., and Marilyn (Larry) Blackwell of Mo.; brothers, Gene (Marti) Price of Watauga, Texas and John (Vicki) Price of Ill.; grandchildren, Angelica and Melysa Juengel, Abigayle, Olivia and Ryan Pfershy; mother-in-law, Dolores, nee Werner, Koskie-Green and husband, Norvell Green of Caseyville, Ill.; many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; and two attached at the heart daughters, Heather and Catherine.

Visitation: Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Kurrus Funeral Home with Rev. William Price officiating. Private family interment will be held.
