Joan H. Voelker, nee Hodson, 84, of Mountain Home, Ark., formerly of Fairview Heights, Ill., born Monday, Sept. 21, 1931, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Sunday, May 29, 2016, in Mountain Home, Ark.
Joan worked as a registered nurse for Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home in Mountain Home, Ark., and the Girls Scouts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Voelker; parents, Paul and Lisetta, nee Apolph, Hodson; and a brother, Paul Hodson.
Surviving are her children, Gary (Karen) Voelker of Freeburg, Ill., Lynn (Daniel) Mills of Norfork, Ark., Dean (Sarah) Voelker of Fairview Heights, Ill.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Kurrus Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jon Tinge officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
