John Bellovich, 75, of Granite City, Ill., born Nov. 20, 1940, in Litchfield, Ill., passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.
John was a devoted husband and father. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. John was retired from Sarah Community Assisted Living in St. Louis, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Angeline, nee Lansing, Bellovich; two daughters, Sonya Bellovich and Lisa Bellovich; a son, Johnny Bellovich; two brothers, Jerry and Pete Bellovich; and a sister, Shirley Denson.
Surviving are his wife, Roberta, nee Hall, Bellovich, whom he married on June 19, 1986, in Madison, Ill.; five children and their spouses, Michelle (Dave) Murphy of Granite City, Ill., Rebecca (Tracy) Slater of Cuba, Ill., Tamie (Kyle) Buehrer of Colorado Springs, Colo., Pete (Natalie) Bellovich of Page, Ariz., and Corey (Denise) Bellovich of St. Louis, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Keel of Caseyville, Ill.; and a brother, Richard (Donna) Bellovich of Mitchell, Ill.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at Wojstrom Funeral Home and Crematory, Granite City, Ill., with a Knights of Columbus service at 7 p.m.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Jeffry Holtman as celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
