John V. Bradac, 92, of Belleville, Ill., born Thursday, Feb. 17, 1921, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
John was a retired command sergeant major in the United States Army serving in World War II and the Korean War. he served as an intelligence officer and secretary of the general staff within the office of the assistant chief of staff at Headquarters, Eighth U.S. Army in Europe and with the 16th U.S. Army Corps in Omaha, Neb. He was also a McDonnell Douglas Corporation retiree.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lina L., nee Gareis, Bradac, who passed away on Dec. 30, 2009; parents, Joseph and Antoinette, nee Youravich, Bradac; daughter-in-law, Deborah Ann Bradac; brother, Eddie Bradac; and his sister, Marsella Cronin.
Surviving are his sons, Fred Bradac of Belleville, Ill., Ralph Bradac of Belleville, Ill., and Mark Bradac of Belleville, Ill.; and grandsons, John E. Bradac and Justin E. Bradac

Funeral: In accordance with his wishes there will be no visitation and cremation will be held. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
