Josephine Claudia "Bage" Tripamer, nee Schutzenhofer, 100, formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born Aug. 4, 1916 in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away at 6:10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 at Caseyville Nursing & Rehab Center in Caseyville, Ill.
She retired from Broadway Cleaners in East St. Louis, Ill., where she worked as a spotter, and was a caregiver to many. Josephine was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fairview Heights, Ill. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, embroidery, and loved listening to German music. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary B. Schutzenhofer; her husband, Joseph "Dunk" Tripamer, whom she married June 18, 1949; three brothers and their spouses, Joseph (Anna Mae), Frank (Rosemary), and John (Helen) Schutzenhofer; two sisters and their spouses, Mary (Edward) Musser and Frances (Rudy) Bleier.
Surviving are a brother, Alex (Darlene) Schutzenhofer of Fairview Heights, Ill.
Arrangements are being made by nieces, Carol Artime and Judi Joergensen, but there are many other nieces and nephews that survive.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, at the church with Father Clyde Grogan celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
