Kimberly Sue "Kim" Axman, nee Severit, 57, formerly of Lebanon, Ill., born March 19, 1959, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 at her residence in Irving, Texas.
Kim was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, who put everyone else's needs ahead of her own, especially when it came to her three loving grandchildren, Devin, Brianna, and Tyler. Kim loved animals and dedicated much of her time volunteering trying to help and save animals all over the world.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Francis Severit Sr. and Genevieve Nelba, nee Kunz, Severit; a sister, Deborah Winifred Thompson and her dog Lucky, who was her best friend.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Lawrence Eugene "Ax" Axman, of Irving, Texas, whom she married May 15,1980; children, Katrina Marie Axman of Grapevine, Texas, Justin Lee Axman and Brandi Axman of Irving, Texas; grandchildren, Devin, Brianna, and Tyler; brothers and sisters, Carolyn Jean (Gary) Hutchings of Belleville, Ill, Norman Francis (Donna) Severit Jr., of Marine, Ill., Dwight George Severit, of Belleville, Ill., David Lee (Joan) Severit, of Lakeland, Fla., Thomas Paul (Myra) Severit, Glen Carbon, Ill. and Gary Richard Severit, of St. Louis, Mo.; Aunt Virginia, nee Kunz, Arbogast, of Lebanon, Ill., and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral: Private family services to be held.
