Carl "Lance" LaFore, 54, born April 6, 1960, in Belleville, Ill., passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, in Summerville, S.C., due to complications from pneumonia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Lora, nee Dozier, LaFore.
Surviving are a brother, Kirk LaFore and his wife, Jennifer, nee Dietrich, of Smithton, Ill.; a sister, Dena Brinkman and her husband, Dan of Edwardsville, Ill.; nieces and nephews, MacKenzie LaFore, Mylie LaFore, Blake Brinkman and Drew Brinkman; and aunts and uncles, Harry and Sandra LaFore of Titusville, Fla., Crystal Dozier of Clarksville, Tenn., Jimmy Dozier of Pleasant View, Tenn., Steve Dozier of Ashland City, Tenn., Ronald Dozier of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., and Derrick (Jennifer) Carr of Jupiter, Fla., who was like a son.
The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the nurses and staff of Oakbrook Health & Rehab Center in Summerville, S.C. for their love, support and caring for him over the past 16 years.

Funeral: Upon Lance's request, he will be cremated and his ashes spread at sea.
