Larry G. Green, 73, of Belleville, Ill., born Jan. 26, 1943, in Carbondale, Ill., passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mr. Green performed work such as architectural design and drafting, carpentry, and building maintenance among various hospitals and hotels in the St. Louis area. Larry was a passionate automobile enthusiast who enjoyed antique cars. He was a member of several area car clubs. He also enjoyed yard work, wood working, car cruises, and building and collecting scale model cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Nina, nee George, Green.
Surviving are his children, Eric (Lizeth Zamora) Green of Fayetteville, N.C., and Matthew (Aunye Amos) Green of Cahokia, Ill.; three grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, and Meagan Green; a sister, Connie Robinson of Belleville, Ill.; his former wife, Anne Green of Cahokia, Ill.; two nephews, Jeff and Chris Robinson; and other relatives and friends.
