Lauryne Hangsleben, nee Hassebrock, 91, of O'Fallon, Ill., born Oct. 17, 1924, in Okawville, Ill., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016.
Mrs. Hangsleben was a member of the O'Fallon United Church of Christ, and the Shiloh Senior Citizens. She enjoyed gardening with her husband, as well as knitting, crocheting, and cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Hangsleben; parents, John and Elizabeth, nee Lehde, Hassebrock; and her sister, Ruth Jung.
Lauryne is survived by her son, Craig (Julie) Hangsleben of Urbandale, Iowa; her sister, Lucille Schneider of Shiloh, Ill.; her grandchildren, Mark (Kellie) Hangsleben of Minot, N.D., Matt (Nichole) Hangsleben of Athens, Ohio, and Sarah (Tyler) Wendelboe of Camp Pendleton, Calif.; her great-grandson, Flynn Oliver Hangsleben; and many nephews cousins, and friends.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 S. Lincoln Ave. O'Fallon, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Martha Thierheimer officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Township Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
