Mr. Lesley G. Cameron, 66, of Beaucoup, Ill., born Sept. 20, 1949, in Belleville, Ill., departed this life at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, in the emergency room of the Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mount Vernon, Ill., following a sudden illness.
Mr. Cameron was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a plumber at Scott Air Force Base. He was a member of the L.A.M.A. (Latin American Motorcycle Association). He enjoyed motorcycle riding and trains and had a special love of animals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Sylvia, nee Plaminek, Cameron; and s sister, Agnes Lou Klich and her husband Steve.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Paula, nee Mustain, Cameron, whom he married on Feb. 18, 1984, in Belleville, Ill.; a daughter, Lacey Horn and husband Shannon of Shiloh, Ill.; a sister, Bea Cameron and Rich of Corvallis, Ore.; an aunt, Rosemary Sphilman of Trenton, Ill.; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
