Lillian M. Gardner, nee Williams, 86, of Swansea, Ill., born Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1929, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Lillian worked as a receptionist for St. Clair County Housing Department and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mamie C., nee Trotier, Williams; brothers, George Williams, Elmer Williams, Joseph Williams, Lawrence Williams, and Harry Williams; sisters, Mable Rich, Dorothy Henley, Viola Williams, and Mildred Connors; and a granddaughter, Amy Monroe.
Surviving are her daughters, Sandra (James) McEvilly of O'Fallon, Ill., Kathleen (Charles) Stahlheber of Fairview Heights, Ill., Barbara (Robert) Onstott of Shiloh, Ill., and Kimberly (Daniel) Wright of Stafford, Texas; grandchildren, Brian (Mary) Stahlheber, Michael (Denise) McEvilly, Christopher (Jennifer) Monroe, Shelly (Charles) Landfried, Caitlin (Jeffrey) Polley, Nikalous (Jarine Reif) Wright, Justin (Delba) Wright, and Lindsey (Ricky Mardirosian) Wright; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Jacob Stahlheber, Tyler, Sydney, Cori and Michaela Monroe, Peter, Gavin and Mason McEvilly, Alyssa and Bradley Landfried, Cade Wright, and Benjamin Polley; and dear nieces and nephews,
