Lola J. Rector, 92, of Millstadt, Ill., formerly of Mount Vernon, Ill., born Saturday, June 9, 1923, in Hamilton County, Ill., passed away at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at her home.
Lola worked as a grocery clerk for Martin IGA in Mount Vernon, Ill., and was a member of Central Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth K. Rector, whom she married on Oct. 10, 1941, in St. Louis, Mo., and who died July 9, 1994; parents, Jay and Flossie, nee Hart, Lambert; two brothers, Jim Lambert and Thomas Lambert; a sister, Mary Ann Barnes; and her son-in-law, James Rainbolt.
Surviving are her son, Larry Rector and wife, Dona of Millstadt, Ill.; daughter, Mickie Rainbolt of Crystal Lake, Ill.; brother, Don Lambert and wife, Carolyn of Portsmouth, Va.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, in the chapel at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Ill., with Mr. Randy Sells and Rev. Murriel Nance officiating. Interment will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Ill.
