Marilyn Ann Crowder, 70, of Collinsville, Ill., born Sept. 19, 1944, in St. Louis, Mo., passed away at 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Relais Bonne Eau Hospice Home in Edwardsville, Ill.
Marilyn retired after 15 years of service as an administrative assistant with the Collinsville Township. She was a member of the CMT YMCA Founding Board, Faith in Action, and St. John Home and Community Care Board. She was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, Ill. Marilyn was active in St. John Neumann Catholic School. For over 40 years, she was a dedicated volunteer and leader at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and School in Collinsville, Ill. She enjoyed helping people and giving back to society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Fritschle and Sophie, nee Messmer, Fritschle.
Surviving are her husband, Clarence "Bud" Crowder, whom she married on Feb. 6, 1965; a son, John (Renee) Crowder of Maryville, Ill.; two daughters, Diane Wicker of Belleville, Ill., and Leigh (Eric) Miller of Edwardsville, Ill.; six grandsons, Zach, Zach, Joey, Jimmy, Jake and Gavin; a great-grandson, Arlo; a brother, Kenneth (Pat) Fritschle of Arnold, Mo.; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Ann Grace Crowder of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 200 N. Lange, Maryville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. following the visitation with Father Joseph Havrilka celebrant. Burial will be held in Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
