Mark Foster, 70, of Belleville, Ill., born Friday, April 6, 1945, in Belleville, Ill., died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Mark was a retired lineman and supervisor for Illinois Power Company. He was a member the Citizens Courthouse Committee, St. Clair County Historical Society, America Field Service and he was a United States Vietnam War Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Winifred, nee Tucker, Foster.
Surviving are his wife, Lynn, nee Rice, Foster of Belleville, Ill.; daughter, Meredith (Chris) Carl of Belleville, Ill.; brothers, Lance (Vicky) Foster of Hamilton, Mont., and Riley (Jon Davis) Foster of Urbana, Ill.; a grandchild, Aoife Carl; and dear friends, Susan Herron, Carole Herron, Neal Isselhardt, James King, John Crowley, and Leon Francis.

Funeral: Per his request cremation was held. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
