Martha Ann Richkas, nee Pinkston, 69, of Gahanna, Ohio, died peacefully at home Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She loved children and gave over 30 years of her life caring for them through her home daycare. Many of those children are now grown and have stayed in touch with her over the years. Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Bertha; grandson, Aaron; sister, Linda Vargas; and brothers, Milton and Steve Pinkston.
Surviving are her loving husband, Anthony L. Richkas; children, Larry (Vhonda) Fultz, Gary (partner Sarah) Fultz, Barry (Michelle) Fultz, Kim (Paul) Dobe, and Tony Richkas; grandchildren Ashley Fultz, Brittany (Kris) Campbell, Victoria (Sam) Strong, Sr. Airmen, U.S. Air Force, Abigail (Fultz), Tony Richkas, Michael Richkas, Casey Fultz, A.J. Fultz and Edward Dobe; great-grandson, Avery Campbell; siblings, Barbara (Bill) Manjarrez, Carolyn (Ken) Weber, Stanley (Pat) Pinkston, Lucille (Richard) Compton, Rick (Jean) Pinkston, Rita (Jim) Fleshren, Mike Pinkston, and many beloved in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
Services: A Memorial Mass will commence at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, with reception to follow at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 4576 Buss Branch Rd. Waterloo, Ill., with Fr. James Voelker officiating.
