Martha "Ann" Alexander, nee Wallis, 83, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born Sept. 24, 1932, in Cairo, Ill., died Monday, December 14, 2015, at Swansea Rehabilitation & Health Care, Swansea,
Martha was the Assistant Vice-President of O'Neil Lumber in East St. Louis, Ill., and retired after 20 years of service. She later worked as a bookkeeper for 10 years with Lyon Industries in Sauget, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Alexander; her parents, St. Elmo and Marie, nee Moreland, Wallis; and two sisters, Ruth Hoskins and Jean Skinner.
Surviving are her son, Robert Alexander of Clarksville, Mo.; her granddaughters, Angela Alexander (Jeremy Lucas) of Maryville, Ill., and Bobbie Jo Alexander of Collinsville, Ill.; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Elmo Wallis of McCleansboro, Ill., and Mike Wallis of Portage, Ind.
Memorial donations are preferred to Prospect Park UMC in Fairview Heights, Ill., and can be donated through the mortuary.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2015, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2015, at Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, Ill., with Rev Karen Oplt officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
