Marvin A. Conway Sr., 76, of Collinsville, Ill., born Jan. 2, 1936, in St. Louis, Mo., died Monday, May 21, 2012.
Mr. Conway was a salesman for 42 years at Wells Tire Company in Collinsville, Ill. He was a member of Oak Brook Golf Club. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and hunter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Beulah, nee Bollinger, Conway; and a granddaughter, Alexandra Nance.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Ann, nee Mumper, Conway, whom he married on Nov 20, 1955, in East St. Louis, Ill.; sons and daughters, Marvin A. (Peggy) Conway Jr. of Katy, Texas, Mark (Angela) Conway of Edwardsville, Ill., Tere Lynn Nance of Fairview Heights, Ill., Tina Leigh (Philip) Anderson of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, and Martin A. (Kristi) Conway of Edwardsville, Ill.; 12 grandchildren, Kevin Conway, Ashley Conway, Max Conway, Merrick Conway, Aaron Conway, Whitney Nance, Christina, nee Ford, Miller, Andrea, nee Ford, Stearns, Robert Miller, Blake Conway, Allison Conway, and Kaitlyn Conway; two great-grandchildren, Carter Ford and Emma Miller; a brother, Donald (Char) Conway of Troy, Ill.; two sisters, Jackie (Jim) Palmer of Collinsville, Ill., and Kathy (Bob) Cochran of Blue Eye, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Mr. Conway's wishes were to be cremated.
