Mary A. Cook, nee King, 78, of Belleville, Ill., born Thursday, July 15, 1937, in DuQuion, Ill., died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Mo.
Mary worked in the accounting department at Scott Air Force Base for over 32 years. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Belleville, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Cook; and her parents, Lester H. and Maude L., nee Reiman, King.
Surviving are her children, Diana (Patrick) Kinney of Belleville, Ill., and Darrell (Shirley) Cook of Belleville, Ill.; brother, John L. (Burnelle) King of O'Fallon, Mo.; sister, Betty Heath of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Erin (William ) Kuehn, Justin (Allie) Kinney, Ian Kinney, and Spc. Brendan Kinney; and six great-grandchildren, Molly Kuehn, Lucy Kuehn, Maggie Kuehn, Chloe Kinney, Leah Kinney and Brock Kinney.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Belleville, Ill., with Rev. Brian Robison officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
