Mary Lovell Cuppett, 88, of Edwardsville, Ill., formerly of Granite City, Ill., born May 22, 1927, in Murray, Ky., passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at University Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Edwardsville, Ill.
Mary was a life long homemaker and mom who enjoyed quilting and giving to her family. She was a member of the Collinsville First Church of the Nazarene and will be remembered for the love she had for the Lord and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Cuppett Jr., whom she married on Nov. 1, 1946; parents, Dempsey W. and Lois E., nee Kirk, Jones; and two brothers, Billy G. Jones and Robert W. Jones.
She is survived by and will be missed by her sons, Duwayne and (Sherry) Cuppett of Branson, Mo., Daniel and (Jackie) Cuppett of Union, Mo., and Stephen and (Valerie) Cuppett of Glen Carbon, Ill.; sisters, Dorothy McCoy of Granite City, and Faye and (Gene) Hull of Granite City; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City, Ill.
Funeral: In celebration of Mary's life services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2016, at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Hancock officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, Ill.
