Mary L. Gaynor, nee Parker, 86, of Cahokia, Ill., born August 5, 1929, in Detroit, Mich., died Saturday, April 23, 2016, in Cahokia, Ill.
Mary was a member of Crossroads Trinity Church in East Carondelet, Ill. She was a very devout Christian woman who loved children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Buck" Gaynor, Jr.; her parents; two brothers; and a sister.
Surviving are her children, Janet Wilde of Festus, Mo., Joseph (Nancy) Gaynor, III of O'Fallon, Mo., Linda (Lou) Naes of Ladue, Mo., Mike (Florence) Gaynor of Caseyville, Ill., Debbie (Mark) Vinyard of Cahokia, Ill., and Jimmy (Wanda) Gaynor of Bourbon, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at the funeral home with Reverend Garvin Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
