I could tell Matt was a legend even if it was just chatting through msn. I followed his training journal for years and even developed my own training around his first methods. He was an inspiration to me and it was a pleasure talking to him.

Matt was such a special person. I've known him for about two years through our mutual hobby of cigars. I'm proud to say Matt was my friend. He was just a couple of years younger than my own son. Matt had become a man any father would be proud to call son. Rest easy little buddy.

Matt was a man of strength and knowledge. We are very close friends. He was always there for me, as I was there for him in his best of times and worst. I will never forget all the things he taught me in the gym. We would get kicks out of yelling at each other in the gym to see the reaction on peoples faces. When people would try to get in the middle of us you would start laughing and go back to our workout. I miss you Matt and can't wait to see you again.
