Maurice T. Zollner, 72, of Millstadt, Ill., born Oct. 8, 1944, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Maurice was an electrical engineer and an Associate Technical Fellow for the Boeing Corporation before his retirement. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice T. and Martha, nee Eledge, Zollner.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Barbara A. Zollner, nee Etling, whom he married on Sept. 30, 1968; two sons, Timothy (Melissa) Zollner of Edwardsville, Ill., and Dennis (Ann) Nadler of O'Fallon, Ill.; one daughter, Denise McAteer of Millstadt, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Brooke McAteer (fiance Kyle Hoerchler), Cory Hepworth, Joseph and Matthew Zollner, Riley and Nathaniel Nadler, and Callen and Christian Spencer; two brothers, Michael (Linda) Zollner, and Mark (Sherry) Zollner, both of Sparta, Ill.; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at the funeral home with Msgr. Marvin Volk officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
