Michael Lee Creasy, 65, of Collinsville, Ill., born July 11, 1950, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away at 11:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at his residence.

Michael retired from Mercantile Bank in St. Louis, Mo., after 20 years of service in the graphics design and human resources departments. He enjoyed playing the drums, and riding his motorcycle. He participated in the Patriot Guard rides. He started a fan website for Jim Reeves, an American country and popular music singer-songwriter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Inez, nee Singleton, Creasy; and infant sister, Barbara Gail.

Surviving are his wife, June, nee Fields, Creasy; whom he married on April 5, 1969; sister, Mary Jo (Warren) Settles of Savannah, Ga.; sister-in-law, Linda Anderson of Trenton, Ill.; his best friend, who was like a brother, Bill Yakstis of Fenton, Mo.; four nephews, Greg Hall, Steve (Randa) Hall, Thomas "TJ" Younger, and Kevin Anderson; three nieces, Susan Hall, Barbara (Robert) Anderson, and Brittany Anderson; and his canine companion, Annie.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at the funeral home with Rev. Russell Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fairview Heights, Ill.
